I often think about how people like Neil Young and Bob Dylan can just sit around endlessly releasing things out of their archives, and how running Neil Young’s archives would probably be my dream job. Anyway I figured if they can do it then anyone can, so I compiled this album of live tracks just for my own entertainment back in November and December. I never did anything with it and was unsure if I really wanted to put it out. Now seems like as good of a time as any. There is at least one recording from each year from 2013 to 2019, and I tried to represent every different live Paper Ceilings lineup. A lot of the tracks are pretty lo-fi considering I generally just throw my Tascam recorder somewhere in the room without too much thought. A few were recorded by other people and sound a little better. I may do some more things like this in the future. The next one will probably be songs I contributed to various compilations that never made it on official Paper Ceilings albums. These things won’t be on streaming services, Bandcamp only. ✌️

Also thanks to Mitch, who I think is the only person to play live in Paper Ceilings and never be recorded. (If anyone has a recording, please send it to me.)
